MPC 3000 and Maschine

I know I might get a lot of kick back for this, but I'm just wondering if anyone else samples straight into their Maschine or other DAW and chops and EQs the samples then proceeding to just sample each chop into their MPC. Some days I'll be in the mood to work on the MP alone, and some days I'll just like to get the chopping over with so I can get to sequencing faster. I don't hear any loss in fidelity either. Anyone else use this method? I love the warmth the 3000 gives to samples and drums which is why I will work in it regardless

I understand many people do this method. But I just wanted to see if MPC heads usually just do chopping all by the numbers or if sometimes, when time is a factor, do they just take the easy way out
