MPC 60 ii high pitch whine

Hi,
My MPC 60 ii makes a low level high pitch whine when i turn it on. It's physically coming from the machine.
The thing is, it also comes out the L & R and headphone outputs. Individual outs 1 to 8 are fine and silent.

I've done some searching online and think it needs a new more modern LED backlight, is this correct?
I've seen someone on eBay selling them, should i buy? Will this stop the noise coming from the machine and outputs? It's not a loud noise but is very annoying!

Apart from that, I'm loving my 60!

It´s the inverter. Either change that or upgrade to a LED display.

So if I install the LED screen does the inverter need to be taken out or does it stay inside my MPC?

...can't understand how the noise gets into my stereo / headphone out though? Hmmm

U can leave it in the 60, just unplug the small power connector, then its silent. And install the led off coarse B-)
