Share your knowledge on these two classic MPCs

so i accidently pluged in a 240v(aus) cable into my 140v mpc3000(us), and it turned on for one second then turned off, and now it wont turn on at all no matter what cable i use
did i jst wreck my new 3000 completely? ;(
i have read online that you can fix this by replacing the "fuses", can someone please tell me exactly what can of fuses i need?
would apprciate any help, thank you

You better hope it was just the 2 dollar fuse and not something else.

If I remember correctly, the fuse is labeled as "F1" and fuse needed for the American MPC3000LE is a 1AMP/125V fast blow fuse.
The best way to check is to open up your 3000 and check all 4 fuses.

So sorry the late reply man been really busy.
So I opened it up and only one of fuses was blown,does this mean I just have to replace this?

Yes. Get a new one, replace it, see if it works with the correct voltage.

I would say go get the fuse at Radio Shack but they are closing down their stores. :cry:
