Hey,

Any websites or places you guys would recommend for the MPC 3000 when it’s not in use? Specifically when the 3000 is on a mix stand.

Thanks.

I've bought dust covers from these guys - http://www.ampcovers.org

The quality and fit is excellent - tough, padded, plush-lined thick material and the prices are really good. I've bought several covers from them for my MPC's and SP1200 and I'm very happy with them. They also do custom embroidered logos.

No, It's a tough synthetic woven nylon material on the outside with a thick soft lining on the inside. It won't damage your MPC. Take a close look at the stuff on their website, they use the same material for everything - amp covers, mixer covers, carry bags etc. The covers are custom made for each piece of equipment and they cover the whole machine top and sides, but they leave a cutout for the connections at the rear - see this page for mpc and maschine covers:

I don't work for them btw, just very impressed with the quality and price.

Yes, the covers fit just fine when the MPC is on a stand, but they have used the wrong photos on that listing - they also sell a turntable cover called a 3000 and they must have mixed up the images. The proper cover for the MPC 3000 is cut to the right shape for the MPC. I would contact them first just to make sure they don't send the wrong cover by mistake.
