Hi everyone,
I'm a new owner of a MPC 3000 running the Valeixi OS and I have a question about how the PGM function on the main screen works. I would like to use an external sound modulator, and some synths, played from the pads on the MPC. I have changed the midi settings and the pads are playing through fine. However, I'd like to make the synth pgm changes on the mpc (to try different sounds on the fly) and it's difficult to reach over to them in my studio. I noticed that the program function also changes the program file in the mpc, so every time I change the program on the synth the drums disappear and have to be reselected in PROGRAM/SOUNDS. Is there a way to change the PGM number on the main screen and have it go just to the external synths? Thanks to all i've learned from already on this forum on the road to buying this machine.
