SCSI Fuse replacement with a switchable fuse?

So I stupidly unplugged my CF card before turning off the MPC 3000 & Card Reader, and now it won't read my Card Reader (SyQuest SYQ 270e) and the card reader won't turn on. Assuming it's just the SCSI fuse and not the Card Reader thats blown, but one thing at a time.

Anyone got any solid info on replacing this fuse with a switchable fuse? I've heard it's doable but found no real good, solid info on it. Would like to talk to someone who's done it.

It would be ideal to verify if other SCSI devices still function on your MPC 3000 - simple troubleshooting on your part really.

But in relation to your fuse question, yes you can swap out the default fuse for a switchable one and it will function fine. The fuse you're looking for should be in the upper right hand corner of the SCSI card on your 3000.
