I WAS WONDERING SAY YOU NEEDED SOUNDS FOR UR 3000 CAN U USE A MODULE WITH THE 3000, IF SO WHAT IS THE BEST MODULE YOU CAN USE WITH THE 3000???? :?: ALSO I ALWAYS WANTED TO KNOW WHAT GOES BEST WITH THE 3000, I MEAN WHAT ARE ITS BEST FRIENDS AS FOR AS GEAR?????????? SOMEBODY TOLD ME THE ASR-X IS. I'LL APPRECIATE YOUR HELP.

There is no such thing as what everyone should need. Sounds stupid but go to a store and check lots of gear to see what you need. Have fun shopping!

I own an mpc 60 and and asr-x pro and the pro compliments the 60 like butter on toast. Why? Because it has everything the MPC 2000xl has and then some, for a cheaper price tag.

1. Resampling is a breeze.
2. Come with effects board.
3. Can hold twice as much ram than the 2000xl (do you need it? I like knowing that I can sample in stereo and not worry about memory.)
4. Can transpose samples automatically.
5. Coloration of samples: excellent, warm tone. (ASR-10 in a box)


Why is it so cheap? Because the one line lcd is less convienant than my 1x3 inch, user friendly Roger Linn menu screen and the sequencer sucks "A*s"!

That's why you got the trusty MPC.
