Share your knowledge on these two classic MPCs

i have installed win 98se but it doesnt help. when i put a mpc 60 disk in my floppy windows says that i have to format it. can you help me or do you know someone who could? its very important for me to edit my samples on my pc.

I can open my disk up with Windows 98. I use DD disks and format with Windows. I don't know if this will be a future problem. Anyways, you could try to sample your sound clips on the computer first and then use the wave2snd. software utility that user "MPC 3000" created. He has it at http://www.mpc3000.com/ or you could use the MPC editor. That's how I usually go about it. Look into getting Double Density diskettes. You can buy them at www.route66studio.com or get them from ebay. All I know is that the 60 with the OS 3.1 version can read floppy disks after it formats the HD disk. I never tried opening that format in windows. That may be your problem.
