Loading Akai CD-ROM

How can I load samples from Akai CD-ROM ? Can I connect a CD-ROM to the MPC 3000 SCSI port? I would use a Mac and Osmosis if it is possible.

i though you couldnt load cd's in the 3000l, if you can, let me know how, cuz i wanna try it!

I load CD's in Akai S3000 format all the time using the MPC3000. CD libraries work very well for me. I have a different CD reader for each of MPC's and S2000.

HOW YOU LOAD CD'S IN THE 3000, PLEASE EXPLAIN, MANNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN EVERYBODY TOLD ME YOU COULDNT DO THAT, AND I HAD MY MPC 3000 FOR LIKE 6 YEARS!!!

I run OS 3.11 which I know has a `Load S3000 CD` from the disk menu.
