For the purpose of reducing a sample's size in memory.
Description:
Sample rate reduction.
44.1 KHz reduced to 22.05 KHz.
Sample rate is reduced by half there by:
1: reducing the memory foot print by half.
2: changing the pitch by half.
3: necessitating a need to re-tune the sample by an appropriate factor.
4: giving the result of a sample that was taken at 22.05 KHz.
The internal process used is identical to that of an MPC60 that runs OS 3.10E. ( with the exception of the actual final sample rate difference in each machine )
