Battle 109

Used the sample with strings/piano, bass and synth (heavy distorted). Here we go

Used a couple of my Cymbals.. other then that only samples provided.

hey, just registered to this forum so i can use the search function, but then i came across this beat battle stuff. i really liked the samples so i gave it a try. since i'm usually really slow in creating a beat, this was mainly a battle against myself

i only used the provided samples and added cymbals and vocal samples.

make sure you added your track to the soundcloud group.

Nice simple beat from me this week.

Used the main sample (chopped) for the groove
Used some of the drums in the breaks for added percussion
Used the synth sample also
Outside drums used, plus samples from 'Breezeblocks' by Alt-J, and a funky horn from Supertramp.

I've enjoyed these last couple of weeks
I'm building up a few disks of these bits and bobs and getting a some interesting kits.

Anyone have any advice on making the final mix sound less ...crap?
I think I need to work on that.

This is the most personall beats I have ever made ,and the very first one without any pro interface ,my card emu1616m pcmcia just died recently

I have made this one completely in Studio One only with some hd audio card which is there in mine lenovo laptop.

I need to buy a new card.

Bit of a last minute job. Nice samples by the way.

A quick beat....straight out the MPC. Used a few samples and a outside guitar that i added to create a bit more atmosphere.
