Thanks man, I did the last bit of EQ'ing with not particularly good headphones on and kinda messed it up, didn't sound quite as low and muddy on them and had some mid and top end.
We live and learn.

I couldn't decide between saadyah tzvi and Dez nyce
Voted for saadyah tzvi although it seemed like more of a sketch I enjoyed the groove
Dez nyce's one was more complete and seemed like more work had gone into it...so maybe should have voted for him, just personal preference.
Big up to all the entrys.

Here's the same beat eq'd with the mids and tops back in.
I should have used other peoples entrys as a reference point to get the levels correct but, I'm not a sound enineer and I was a bit tired and....well you know
But when heard it next to everyone elses I could tell I'd screwed it up.

i dig Saadyah kik pattern allot. i was using same part of sample in my attempt.
DC-N5S had that Ricci Rucker style going nice. i really like that track.
But ol' Hok did well with sample chops. much more work on samples. nice job man. you got my vote this round.

tough call between dez nyce, saadyah and SFS, DC-N55 also had a nice beat, love the slow beats!
went with Steve, really enjoyed the drum programming, and the sample chops / filter work. Special mention to Dez nyce, those drums were also banging my man.
