Ladies and gentlemen!!

Image

First, it came with this design that I was doodling with.

Image

Then I practiced a little stencil.

Image

Now its time to pull out the DJS-1000 and make correct measurements for a true stencil.

Image

Time to cut out my stencil and use it on my wood as a guide.

Image

After that, I go straight and bore all the needed holes and drill holes into the wood before cutting anything.

Image

Now we got our holes, its time to cut it. Raw handed saw yaw!!

Image

Straight cuts baby. The boss supervises as he sleeps.

Image

Cutting out the front panel.

Image

Day One:Finished.

Next time I will sand and smooth it all down followed by a staining, then its off to the nook and cranny details that will include metal parts and glass!

Image

Stay tuned friends!!

How does the front and back look?
How much weight did it add?
Can I get one in an ILL GREEN color?

Front has a wooden panel, the back is naked for the cables. Plan to install it into the former MPC Live woodstand. :D

 Its just for show, but in its place will be a Roland Cube Cm30. That speaker can handle the crazy lows of the DJS-1000.

Did some quick sketches, just making them as I think it up. More coming. The yellow lines represent light fixtures coming from the top.
