It looks like the perfect MPC that people were trying to mock up awhile back, except it looks better.
Pads, keys, huge touch screen, faders, built in synth, etc.
Looks pretty close to a dream machine if you ask me.

come on people!! look around u. most of yall already got midi keyboard, pads, dope sequencer, computer, DAW, vsts, audio interface, etc. i'd invest those 5 Gs into some outboard analog gear.

Anyways, this openlabs thing is a little too expensive for what it is.
It would be different if i was just starting out and hadn't already invested 3000 - 6000 over the years on gear and computers.

Openlabs stuff is cool if you are Sting's keyboard player but you can get way more gear with 5 g's than they are putting in that unit... Midi keyboards and drum controllers are around 100-200 ... computers are around 1500 .. interfaces are around 200-800 .. Ableton is 500.. I would not reccomend it as a first keyboard.. If you know that is what you want and have the dough go for it but I certianly don't drool over it..
