sp 303/404/555 psudeo mute groups-remain/cancel button

does anyone know how exactly the psudeo mute groups on the sp series work with the remain/cancel buttons?

im not talking about the delete mode one where you can go into delete mode and every pad will act like its in a mute group.

i want to know how it is sequencing with the remain/cancel buttons since you cant with the delete mode version.
