just pulled an old footswitch out the basement and hooked it up to my mv.
this is alot more helpful than i thought. u can set the footswitch to do alot of different stuff that helps if u are a foot tapper
1) Press 'SYSTEM'
2) Press 'PAD/PANEL'
3) Press 'PANEL' tab at lower left
4) Change 'FOOTSWITCH TYPE' to 'TAP TEMPO'
5) Press 'BPM/TAP' to open the window to see your tempo change
6) Tap on foot pedal in same manner as tapping with your finger-'third tap' will give you your tempo
Note: If you get no reading you may have to change the polarity of the footswitch internally on the MV or on the foot switch itself if yours has one. Hope this helps and happy tappin'
