i have a mirage and I'd really like to try some of those editor programs. especially the original ensoniq VES. and stienberg soundworks mirage(atari st) but anything that runs in an emulator would be great.

this one is missing from the list:
https://github.com/gordonjcp/miragetools
utils to write mirage floppies from a linux pc (needs a real floppy drive, no usb)

he's a clever guy and has more stuff in the works, like a modified os with midi control for the filter cutoff/resonance,

the only active place for mirage discussion i've found is:
https://groups.yahoo.com/neo/groups/aka ... plers/info

the mirage is a crazy sampler, i'm glad i found one before they become cool again.
the filters are massive and the 8bit da converters are like nothing else out there.

lots of people diss the mirage because its hard to use, this is not entirely untrue but you only need to learn a few simple things to record a sample, tune it and save it to disk. there is a cheat sheet that you can print out and put on to of your mirage.

its also in the MUG archive.
