saw these on display at sam ash today.not to bad for the price..i wouldn't be surprised in 6 months the tr 8 drops to 399.00...

I saw an article with rumors of TR-707 sounds coming in an update. I can't find the article. Anyone hear about this?

Yes, in some of the videos from the release and at Messe, I think they mentioned that 707 sounds would be added.

Says 707 will be next at 1:15...

Thanks Simon. I'm keeping an eye on this machine. If they add all of the TR-x0x kits, it'll be hard to pass up.

had bad experience at samash music store..salesmen lied...went to another and sam ash gave me 15 percent off 3 pieces..i got the tr8 tb3 and vt3..didnt get much time to mess with them..i will say that this does have that boom in it..from short time I used.
In time I will hook my real 808 and see the difference in 2 machines..

I'll pick up a TR-8 once they hit $250-300 second hand.

Just picked up the tr 8 and tb 3 today. Solid and very impressed so far! Able to sync to MPC RENAISSANCE ?!? Hahahaha nope.....another piece of kit that the Ren doesn't like. Jokes aside these units kick
