Hi!

I recently bought an S5000 sampler and have been keen to upgrade storage from the factory floppy drive.
I bought a SCSI CF card reader package and tried installing it but having some problems.
Have contacted the guy who sold it, but no response as yet...

I have the rear termination switch set to 'on' and when the sampler loads up the main start up screen it recognises the new drive, but the sampler freezes and I can't advance further in the menu.

I've tried the same thing with a JAZ drive and the same thing happens it freezes the sampler.

I'm wondering if this means the SCSI fuse has blown and how to fix/replace it if so?
I can't find a way to set the SCSI ID on the drive. Not sure if that's an issue?

Has anyone had these kind of encounters setting up SCSI with this machine?

Cheers!
