I ve just got Akai S900 where I can find option to change Sampling Rate?
Thank You.

they call it "bandwidth" on the sampling pages... and your bandwidth x2.5 = sampling rate.

Do you mean change the kHz rate? the s900 stays at 12 bit but you can change the kHz rate from 7.5khz-40khz.
If I remember, the only way to change the bit rate from the stock 12bit to 16bit is if you have the Marion systems board upgrade installed but it's extremely rare.
Hopefully some s900 pros can chime in on this.

Its a Sampling Rate ;-)
Thanks

I wasn't sure if thats it.
Thanks

How do you sample(because my mixer has stereo outputs and S900 has mono input)???
Do you use cable like this?

Or you just choose to sample one channel right or left.???

Choose L or R. Cables can't sum two signals together. With a splitter cable you will only hear one L or R.

:hmmm:

me. imagine the way it does the ADC on a machine of that era... where it wasn't even stock but an expansion. It probably sounds great....

I would rather have sample time over bit increase. To me the S-900 sounds clean even at lower bit rates, even after slamming the converters, sampling at a higher pitch and pitching down. But that's my own opinion.
