Hi, I recently bought an Akai s1000 that was not working. I checked the psu to find its dead so I have ordered one. In the meantime, I decided to hook up the 5v feed to the board to my power supply whilst having the unit powered up to the mains for the 12v supply. When turning it on, the scsi card fires up and the screen completely fills with pixels but no text. I don't even get any red led lights showing above any buttons..... any ideas welcomed. Thanks
