So since I've be using the mpc the only thing that really bugs me is the undo function when overdub is in action.

Was working on a beat and overdub was on while I worked on it but when a played in some thing I did not like I pressed the undo and it undone every thing I had do from the the start/when I first applied the overdub. I don't think this is the best way this can work.
When I do the same thing in ableton using push the undo it will just undo your mistakes not everything since the overdub was applyed.

I agree. For complete the current UNDO behavior I think we could have 2 layers of undo history :

- global UNDO : same as actual undo system
- and edit UNDO or record UNDO history when we enter in RECORD/OVERDUB mode

Recording-UNDO-Layer (RUL ?? :D) history could reset when we exit RECORD/OVERDUB mode

something like that
