Buying a used mpc /ren/touch/studio NO SOFTWARE.

What is Akai's official stance here. Will they give a license to those who buy used from Ebay/Reverb/Craigslist/etc. for free?
Talking about let's say an mpc studio that is not de-registered, but still registered to another user who is using the license with another controller.
Will Akai grant me a new license in such an instance?

Only buy the hardware from someone who states in their listing that they will deregister it from their account. Otherwise you will not to be able to register.

I doubt Akai will help.

However, the seller will be able to use the software after deregistering if that helps (him to finish his projects etc).
Is that any sort of illegal, I don't know, but I do know it'll work for him as long as he keeps the software on his HD.
