Anyone tried MPC Software with Duet Display App for iPad?

I took the plunge and downloaded two apps to my iPad duet Display and Astropad. Duet Display and MPC software doesn't seem to like each other, but Astopad works. The down side to it all it's not the same experience as with my MPC Live or MPC X, in fact it's not that interesting at all and kinda awkward and clumsy...
