MPC 2.0 and Legacy file support. MPC 3000?

So according to the Akai website various old mpc formats are supported.
MPC 3000´s: .all, .pgm, .seq and .aps.

Does this really work?
Can you load and save (or export) in MPC 3000 formats in MPC 2.0 software?
