Tempo Change in Song Mode

Hi. I'm using MPC 2.0 with the Ren. My issue is I have a track that has a few tempo changes in it. In song mode it plays fine, but once I convert it to a sequence its stays locked to the 1st sequence tempo and doesn't change. Is there something I'm missing or it can't be done? If it can't is there a work around? I don't think I can bounce straight from song mode. Any information is greatly appreciated.

What if you set the sequence to its own tempo instead of "seq"?
