Can you use MIDI FX like Cthulu in VIP (inside MPC Software)

My post about this over at Get Satisfaction keeps disappearing. Hopefully someone can help me out. Couldn't find an answer any where and couldn't figure it out on my own.

I know that MIDI FX like arpeggiators don't work in MPC natively but is it possible to rig this up in VIP? I watched all the official videos & read the manual but I'm still kinda foggy on VIP's signal flow.

I feel like I need someone to show me around VIP & explain it to me like I'm dumb.

If MIDI FX work in VIP, that'd be a nifty workaround. I'd prefer to not buy that Blue Cat software & IL Minihost forgets my plugins about every third time I open it.

It seems like there should be a way, but I haven't figured it out yet.

Any insight would be greatly appreciated.
