importing Q-links into projects

Hey Crew, im hoping that there is an option for saving the Global & Project settings of the Software & then importing them into older projects instead of saving as a template for only future projects?

If there isnt can this become a feature request ?

Shall i take the silence on the topic as there isnt a solution to this?
would anyone like to see this implemented ?
