Installed MPC Beats on Mac Mini. Sounds awful.

Hello.

I just installed MPC beats software on my Mac mini which also runs a Ableton and Cubase. There is no sound card and I’m running audio direct into the speakers from the computer.
Ableton and Cubase have sounded great in this configuration for years. They sounded great the first time I started them up to make music.

Just installed MPC Beats software and the audio is distorted and way too loud.

Why?

First, lower the global output level, top right of the MPC Software/Beats screen, take the white arrow approximately half way.

If that doesn't fix things, open the channel mixer and check your output levels (pad, program, masters etc).
