For some reason, seeing 2.0 in this new expansion pack video doesn't give me the feeling that It took them this long for them to finish 2.0.

With other words: I don't believe that the software was causing the hold up. I mean what's really new apart from time stretching, clip launching and the new browser? The users interface?

Went to HKI Synthetic in Helsinki today and had a good talk with Andy Mac in private. He was super enthusiastic and did a nice demo with X.

Software out as public beta next week.

Live + X are done; waiting for shipping and distribution to be done so launch can happen at the same time for all countries/shops, and that's been taking a bit.
Live should be available in 2-3 weeks and X in June.

Andy said Pete has been working on PDC.

Did you demo them yourself? What's your initial impressions on hardware/software/build quality?

Anything else you can share?

Fantastic, fantastic, fantastic news. Can't wait to try it out. Did you tear up when PDC was mentioned.... tell the truth?

How massive is the Mpc x screen in person?

They feel solid and snappy.
X is big and it really looks damn good.
Hearing about possible PDC made me look like that Michael Jordan meme.

Andy was very excited about the products and 2.0 and that's contagious.

Anyways...the most important thing to take home was the fact that it's all been done. Only waiting for distribution to do its thing.

That is superb news about the PDC! Puts 2.0 on the must buy list and I'll be having a look at the X.

Long time lurker around here...
Guitar center has the release date of mpc live changed to today now. Last I checked they were both at may 24th. I plan on posting more around here, long time mpc user myself, but the 4000 is really starting to show it's age.

Probably a typo for May 30th instead. If it was available today, then "In Stock" should appear.
