So basically if you have a DRUM program selected, go to PROG EDIT and in the computer hit WAVE to show the WAVE editor for the sample on the current pad.
Here you'll be able to edit a bunch of parameters, some taken from PROG EDIT and some from SAMPLE EDIT. Notice that you have WARP, Stretch and BPM settings here.
In the standalone software, for DRUM and KEYGROUP programs at least, there is no equivalent to this WAVE editor. So you can of course edit most of the parameters via PROG EDIT and SAMPLE EDIT, but you'll spot that the WARP related settings are nowhere to be found. I assumed they might be buried in SAMPLE EDIT, but they are not. So if you do wish to warp a sample in a drum program you'll need to do it in the computer.
This isn't a problem for audio tracks as there's a dedicated mode for editing audio tracks.
So, missing in standalone so far:
LIST editor
Automation/modifier lane in grid edit
MIDI program Q Link edit
Warp settings for DRUM & KEYGROUP programs
So there is no realtime time stretching in Sample Edit mode and drum program in the LIVE. So a workaround would be create a dummy Sequence. Realtime time stretch/ pitch shift to taste in a audio track or clip and then bounce the sequence to new sample.
I couldn't find an option to bounce a audio track directly to a sample
What happen to all those promo video of the entire "2.0" being in the machine? I'ma little bitter about this because this was the main feature I wanted to use.
