The Data wheel knob wobbles a little to have some give to it because you can push it down. There's nothing wrong. All MPCs lives has this.

For my use the case is ok, but for 80 quid I expected a better all round fit.

Yep. I agree. My q links are not wobbly at all. Only the big data knob is wobbly, and it was always like that. That's normal I guess....

Qlinks and jogwheel are solid here, I don't get that wobbly loose knob like you guys are reporting. My jogwheel is straight and pushes like a button but no wobbles or N64 analog stick shenanigans here.

Like I said earlier in this thread, protect your investment with hard weather cases. In backpacks its prone to damage. Its like mailing your Live in an envelope without the box. Its gonna come back destroyed.

It's like Chinese whispers round here!

The knobs are fine, the button wobbles though.

Guess what my preset knobs on my Alpha Track wobble just a lil bit. Why? Because they push down like the Data wheel. And they have not given me a problem

so how it is this UDG softcase?
my q link are rock solid, jogwheels a bit less, but still solid

>so how it is this UDG softcase?

Pros: The UDG case has a semi- hard shell front and back, and is very light.
Cons: There is no extra space, i.e. no room for the AC charger, and only has a handle - for the money they should have added a shoulder strap.

Sorry for the late reply on my project. Been travelling a lot and actually used the bag so I can vouch for it. Now its not a Case but a travelling bag that does the job. Unless you're planning to drag the bag around and bang it everywhere this is the best and most efficient solution I found. Enjoy the pics

I was using a bog standard 17" laptop rucksack until the shoulder strap sheared, Amazon refunded no quibble so I bought the small UDG ultimate producerbag

The Live fits with plenty of room for my macbook and all the peripherals and PSUs etc. Shoulder straps could do with a bit more padding IMO, but so far it seems strong, well padded internally and well made (should be for £106). 'Lifetime warranty' allegedly.

Ive got the larger producer bag. I think i posted it earlier in this thread?

I have the arturia Audiofuse interface, a 25 key keyboard controller, full size studio headphones, various cables, a mono dj stick headphone, iPad Pro, 100W power bank, cables, psu, ther live itself, a vr camera, and supporting cables. Perfect!

I think you can’t take the larger one on a plane as a hand luggage..Some badget airlines have specific dimensions for this..The smaller though fits everywhere...I’d go with the smaller one ;-)

i would not dare take all of this on a plane anyway. This is my "Around town" man bag.

Besides, I don't travel like that. I'm not ballin' like you playa! ;-)
