It would of been dope to have a DVI or HDMI port on the X or Live when in standalone. Its not going to happen. So why are you trying to pizz or someone's idea?
I do f***ing recalling tje MV8800 and the MPC 3000 SE having monitor support.

Ideas are made by individuals to push the boundaries. Not sittng and bytching about another man's thought because he has a vision.

Do you even understand the concept of a standalone machine? You clearly don't, because the other day you were doing a "standalone challenge" video inside the 2.0 software

People love to b!tch about everything.. I love the touchscreen capabilities on the new MPC units, it's very responsive. Even if Akai releases a driver for mouse input.. I wouldn't use anyway.

You do know you can sample from youtube into the X or Live right now right? Both machines have record via RCA in and inputs. Its a work around but it can be done.
If Akai did that direct wonder if the FCC would approve hmmmm

In fact it would be incredibly trivial to implement
As the full x server (graphical backend) is running on X / Live and its the mpc application running in the foreground, virtually any linux app can run on it. You could even watch porn on your mpc with just a little bit of effort.
