When in controller mode, can I record a live internal performance from a midi track, in realtime, to an audio track?
I’m not seeing an option for an internal input to the audio track. Like I can’t route a midi track to the audio track.
Curious

Your midi track would need to be driving an audio device -- a synth or VST instrument. If external, that needs to get routed in as an audio input. IF a VST< you should see an option to straight bounce that performance to an audio file. I makes more sense to me in stand-alone mode.

Thanks, cmakg!
What I'm trying to do is play a VST live into an audio track versus recording the notes first on the VST track, then bounce to audio file.
I'd like to record some filter sweeps, etc, live rather than deal with automation. Record that performance to a audio track, and then edit the audio

Run the output to one of the non-main, loop back in? I haven't tried that problem.

Yes, my man. That may be the solution.
Thank you!
Only issue I foresee is latency
