MPC X, MPC Live, MPC One & MPC Key 61 Forum: Support and discussion for the MPC X, MPC Live, MPC Live II, MPC One & MPC Key 61; Akai's current generation of standalone MPCs.

MPC X/Live in controller mode with Loopback works like a champ, but I'd like to work primarily in standalone mode. What's a production-grade approach for pulling hifi samples from iOS without piling on another audio interface? The lightning to 3.5mm "adapter" that comes with recent iOS devices is a definite :WTF: .

Cheers to lots of epic firmware releases! :worthy:

Closing the loop from the other direction, the official statement from Akai Support in response from my support request:

"Currently, the only way to route audio into the MPC X is with the Audio or Phono inputs. The USB will not pass audio."

I asked that they add this to the feature request pile (or upvote as its probably been there forever).
