FX slots ”sort by manufacturer”??

Has anyone else wondered what this new sorting mode is for in the fx selector lists?

Not sure when this was added to the UI, just moticed it there. I’m on the latest OS (standalone).

So far, if you activate this sorting option, you only get one folder level titled ”Akai Professional”...

SO DOES THIS MEAN 3RD PARTY FX IS COMING TO STANDALONE??!

Wouldn’t these third party effects have to be whatever format just for the live/x?
My assumption is it’s just to for better compatibility between standalone and pc use.
Hope I’m wrong.
Side note it was mentioned on gs they already have a beta of 2.2 being used.

sort by manufacturer has been there in previous builds, no?

Has been there since the beginning, works in controller mode

Yeah, don't mean shit. Its like how emails are filed, Sort by date, sort by subject etc.
