MPC Live becomes unresponsive.

Just wondered if anyone has had this issue.
Sometimes the MPC will just not play anything. My own or demo projects, it refuses to play. Transport doesn't move, no meters indicate any sound generated.
Have to reset a number of times before it will work again.

That does not sound like a healthy machine to me. I assume you contacted Akai?

Yes. They got back to me rather speedily and organised a return as they think it's a hardware issue.
I bought an MPC live when they first came out and have only started using it intensely as preparing for a bunch of gigs for the spring and summer. And these problems emerged.
Apparently the first batch produced had a high percentage of returns.
Still customer support were pretty amazing they are gonna sort it priority 1 so I don't have to cancel any gigs.
