How do you exactly control the cutoff via aftertouch? Am I tripping, or were we able to do that before?

Manual for software mentions:
Kbd>Filter (Keyboard->Filter) sets how much aftertouch data (from a pad) is needed to modulate the cutoff frequency.
…but the pic for that on the software manual shows KBD>Start.

Manual for Live hardware says:
Kbd>Flt (Keyboard->Filter) sets how much aftertouch data (from a pad) is needed to modulate the cutoff frequency.

On software, it's now V>START.
On hardware, that's now VEL>STA.

Now, where is the aftertouch->cutoff that the manual mentions? :hmmm:

Ok yeah it would be cool. Did you hit up Akai and let them know?

Would love to get this for drum progs too.

"no, because drum programs use aftertouch for note repeat."

Dang. Never use note repeat myself, but would've been cool to do some filtering…

You can do it using the ROLI Seaboard or the LinnStrument connected to the any MPC because they have Polyphonic Touch Sensing. Strike Velocity, Pressure (Z axis), Release Velocity, Left-Right (X axis), and Front-Back (Y axis).

I just started thinking of this.
Actually, let me be frank: the way I use sounds may be a bit funny and not as intended, haha…I never use KG progs, and even if I have, say, a pad or keys I'm playing chromatically…I use them in a drum program using 16 levels.
And the aftertouch->cutoff filtering I'd like to do would be for pads etc so KG prog would work well there.

"Learned" something new and useful here, hehe.
