Nothing beats good speakers/headphones and I love my Sony HDR 7506's for clarity but sometimes I just want to play around with some beats and not have to faff about with headphones. I have a JBL Flip 5 which I have always thought sounds amazing for it's size but it has no line in so I picked up an excellent condition used Flip 4 and a short jack lead. To make things a little neater I bought a small sheet of 3mm black perspex and cut it to provide a rear ledge to put the speaker on. The perspex is held to the MPC with 3M 'dual lock' which is super strong and even with a couple of small pieces it doesn't move anywhere. With the speaker just to the left of the MPC centreline it still allows access to the ins/outs if needed.

Really happy with it, convenient portable setup, sounds good, battery lasts for ages and I found not having to have headphones quite liberating!

I'm in exactly the same circumstance so am going to copy your idea! Cheers.

If you use the same 3M dual lock velcro you don't need to drill the hole for the case screw - the velcro is thick enough to keep the perspex far enough away from the screw. I drilled it in advance then realised I didn't need to!

Also you only need a tiny bit of the dual lock - I used 4 pieces each one about 1cm square and still struggled to remove the perspex! I've kinda ended up just leaving it on there all the time tbh :)
