I've started thinking about the outs of hardware synths that have stereo outs... if you could just monitor & record them in mono, then apply "stereo" FX in the DAW, set up on sends.
But sounds like the Supersaw, coming from the original JP-8080... would you run it out stereo or mono?
Then, for big spacial pads that are wide... would you run them in stereo or mono, then apply chorus/delay/reverb in the DAW?
Running stuff in mono would save lots of inputs on the interface, if it would make sense to run in mono.
