Picture this scenario: you’re stuck on an island with your MPC (the memory’s been partially wiped; no drum samples on your MPC at all) and a drum machine of your choice to create a drum kit.

If you had only the stock sounds from that drum machine, what drum machine would it be and why?

I would change the scenario to be stuck on spaceship destine for Saturn, which is about a 6 or 7 year flight. At least, electricity is more believable there. Anyway, just watched Passengers :D

I would sample the engine room with all its clank and din

Command Station PX-7. Lots of acoustic drum samples. I lived off it for years.
