I just re-checked out TLC's classic
song "Creep" and realized how
amazing the beat is.

The thing that stuck out for me
most is the horn that starts out at
the beginning and then plays
throughout the song.. it seems
to just jump out of the mix.. in
a good way. Anyone know how
they eq'd that or what FX they
put on it?

I love that horn too......honestly it does sound like it has a little reverb on as well as perfect EQing.

In my ears it sounds like 2 horn samples. Also different reverbs on them.

Oh wait....no it cant be true cause the horn is played by the guy in the vid. So no samples, just a real good hornplayer ;)

TLC. Such a great band. RIP LeftEye

Doesn't look like he's actually playing that trumpet if you ask me...

?? you didn't see the ;) ??

I bet the guy in the vid couln't play a single clear note on this horn. His job was "looking good with a horn in his hands".
