I looked around at different shit. a little research.

How is the sample dump Recyle-ASR.. I heard its really slow and shit
anybody use this process?

the alternative option is downloading the Ensoniq WAV converter which will take wavs and put them into ASR readable format

( i have a CD Burner and a CD-rom for my ASR so its all gravvy)

I know there are many people here with ASR's so if you could help a newb out i would appriciate it.
peace

On my PC I use AWAVE to convert wav to EFE/EFA, then EPSdisk to create a blank image, then move those efe into that image (not to exceed the 1.44mb for floppy). I take that disk to my ASR (I don't have SCSI) and I load. It actually loads faster than normal when formated via EPSDISK than the ASR itself.

I also download MANY efe's/efa's from the internet and put them through the same process. It's tedious but worth it when you find good samples. In Awave can also audition efe format.

do you need a program like EPSdisk or can you just put the files on and burn the disk?

I've never tried burning a Ensoniq readable disk, I don't have SCSI on my ASR10.
