The MPC Instrument Bundle utilises professionally built keygroup programs, optimsed to ensure low RAM usage (on average at least 3 times less RAM than Akai's equivalent plugins). All instrument patches come with program previews, all content is fully tagged for the Media Browser and hardware UI search filters and all content works equally well in standalone mode, controller mode and directly in the MPC Software and MPC Beats.

The entire bundle is fully compatible with all modern standalone MPCs running MPC 2.10+ including the MPC X, MPC One and MPC Live (I & II). It is also compatible with the Akai Force (running firmware 3.1+), as well as the latest versions of the MPC Software and 'MPC Beats'. We include drag and drop 'standalone' installers for the Live/X/One and XPN installers for the MPC Software/MPC Beats app. Read the installation guide here.

For a limited time you can purchase the complete expansion bundle for a massive discount of 40% off the  price of purchasing all the expansions separately.  The MPC Instrument Bundle is the definitive source of real acoustic instruments for the new generation of MPCs, and is available exclusively from MPC-Samples.com!

Reviews

"I fully recommend these instrument expansions,  I bought them all and they are pretty excellent. I am super impressed. They're waaaayyyy better than the stock sounds and better than anything these other people are talking about because they load in as an .xpm file and give you the notes all laid out. I'd say that I use the bass the most and the orchestral pack has vibes in it that are absolute fire. The electric keys are also really good. And, surprisingly the horns sound solid, too. What's really great is that when you go into "pad perform" it has all of the notes laid out for you. "

"My MPC One finally came this weekend and I grabbed the mpc orchestral expansion. I must say I was shocked by how good the instruments sound, these packs have layered samples with different velocity sensitivities, etc. The installers make it really easy to load and the extensions look nice and organized. I was impressed."

"hey I ended up buying the whole MPC Instrument Bundle, the samples sound excellent! The MPC Samples piano literally sounds like you’re playing a real piano and is very touch responsive. Such a great pool of samples to have."

"Just wanted to say that I bought your Horn and Downbeat kits for my new MPC yesterday and I’ve been blown away. They sound amazing! I never expected that the horns would be so realistic. Stringing notes together sounds so natural. Thanks so much to all of you for putting in the effort to make these as good as they are, really appreciate it."
David Cooke, Ireland

"Bought the expansion and… blimey…. seriously good. There is some ninja programming work under the hood, it’s phenomenal. Doesn’t seem slower to load than the v1 electric keys so good job on memory optimisation too. This is a world part from the Electric plugin, it’s got an organic actual instrument vibe to it. Love it. Great job!"

"I love your expansions and tutorials and just wanted to say - these keygroups are inspiring! Absolutely a work of art. Thanks for all your hard work"
Al Riesenbeck, United States Home

"I can attest that these are fantastic and sound great. There is also special attention spent when creating these to both sound great yet be very efficient with memory. I can tell you from my own experience, this is a lost art in today's world of sampling and creating instruments. It is very refreshing to see this level of effort and attention to detail spent on creating these keygroups."
Michael Koehler, United States Facebook

"Purchased 'Melodic Percussion' and as always it's way more professional in every way than what anyone else is putting out. I only ever buy expansions from you (mpc-samples.com), in my mind I've always thought of them as "official" products. The overall quality and content is just heads and shoulders above whatever else I've seen. Keep up the amazing work Andy and I look forward to future instruments."

"Yesterday I have purchased the MPC Instruments Bundle and jammed around with it. I was pleasantly surprised and am very satisfied with the collection. Inspiring sounds and outstanding sound quality."
Fabian Moeller, Germany

"All your instruments have been great, the Farfisa’s in particular are superb! 👍"

Product FAQs

Is this easy to install in standalone MPCs and the Force?

Yes, we now provide two separate installers, one for 'standalone' use and one for installation directly into the MPC Software.

The standalone version is simply copied directly to the 'Expansions' folder on your MPC X/Live/One/Force disk - full instructions for both standalone and MPC Software installation are provided in the included User Guide.

Does this work in standalone MPCs and the Akai Force?

Yes, it's 100% compatible with the MPC X, MPC Live, MPC One and Akai Force and features memory-optimsed programs made with standalone use in mind. We've included a dedicated 'standalone' installer for easy drag-and-drop installation to your standalone MPC disk (plus an XPN file for optional MPC Software installation).

Does this work with the MPC-Software & MPC Beats?

Yes! In addition to the 'standalone MPC' installer we also provide a dedicated expansion installer for the MPC Software and MPC Beats; just drag and drop directly into the software. Full installation instructions are included with the expansion.

What is a round robin?

To mimic the subtle changes in timbre you can hear each time you play a note on an acoustic instrument, we record multiple 'takes' for each note and set up the MPC program to play back one of these samples randomly each time you play that particular note. This is referred to as a 'round robin'.

Can I play these instruments with a MIDI control keyboard?

Yes, just hook up your keyboard to your MPC (via USB, MIDI cable etc) and you can immediately play the instruments with the keyboard. Set up instructions are provided in the User Guide.

I can’t play keyboard, can I still use these instruments?

Yes! You can play the instruments directly with your pads and they also fully support PAD PERFORM mode which maps pre-built chords and scales across your pads.
