SAving sequences on 2000xl?

Ay guys for sum reason when a i save a sequence and turn the mpc off and back on all that shows up are the melodies and no drums?
can sumone help me?

u gotta read ya manual man, u have SEQ(sequences) and PGM(programs.

one saves midi data and the other contributes to restoring your sounds after u turn it off.
the ez way is to creat a folder lets call it (beat1)
open beat1 so that it replaces the word ROOT in the right corner.
then the same way u saved a sequence scoll until u find SAVE ALL PROGRAMS AND SOUNDS

if u have multi pgms name em and save em. practice this with some bs sounds since u can delete them anyway.
if u dont know how to delete a sound either u really need to READ THE MANUAL or buy a few energy drinks lock yaself in ya basement and have a FUNCTIONALITY day where all u do is **** up and learn... peace

yeah, when saving a song... there are two things you should make sure you choose to save.

1) all programs and sounds

2)all sequences and songs.


if you save both of these options, your song will be saved. (then next time you load both of those)

you might have trouble though if you are using a floppy drive because sometimes floppies mess up and they dont hold much space.
