2500 Vs. 2000xl

Thought they could be 16bit stereo or mono 44khz wav files. My 2k classic loads those atleast.

wow,just pulled the manual and right there it is,u r more than right my friend,,i read this elsewhere when i bought it and never second guessed it because they worked fine and i recorded in stereo,but i bet this way they will sound a whole lot better,,thanx for pointing that out,,,and trust me i read more than half the manual already,,,it was just i seen that somewhere and ran with it...thanx again boss!!

The only two things that I have to say would make me want to set my 2000XL aside and pick up a 2500 is the fact that the 2000XL lacks the Pitch Shift feature that the 2500 has and the Time Stretching is a lot faster on the 2500 (I can't even stand to use it on my XL because of the time it takes). Other than that, I love my XL; once I get the effects board for it, I'll be set.

I got both. from my experience, the biggest difference is the processing speed. the 2500 SHlTS all over the 2000xl when it comes to processing. Just make sure you invest in JJos if you grab a 2500. Otherwise You cant got by the simplicity of the 2000xl.
