2000xl acting up

called akai support today talked to the guy and he explained to me that it was because i downloaded it from windows xp it will not work , he says it only works with windows 98 and 2000. so he is sending me the os on floppy with all instruction to install for free. she be here in 2 days

honestly, that sounds rediculous. but let us know anyhow...

ya windows xp shouldnt be the issue. i think close to everybody here has used xp to make the boot disk. hope it works out for you though, would hate for that to happen to anybody.
