Chopping and adding to an existing program

Hello guys i do a lot of chopping on my mpc 2kxl i have never figured out how to assign chops to pre-existing programs so i always pick the create new program feature which works but then i have to load more programs to complete my sequence any help on this would be spectacular!!

dont create a new pgm. just chop the sample and then go to the pgm menu. then you can assign the new chops onto an existing pgm. tap the pad you want to assign the new sample to and then scroll through to the new sample.
