MPC PROGRAM LOADING PROBLEM!

hi there i have a 2000xl and when i load a program into it with sounds i cannot select the program in the main screen. it appears at first but then i have to assign each sound to another program and this takes more time to do. please help

how do i get the program i loaded to appear in the main screen and use it .
