Floppy Disk 1.2 OS problems.

About a week ago i got a used XL from a cat here on the forums. im new to the floppies, and i bought a CF card reader for it too. But i just ordered the 1.2 OS on a floppy from MPC stuff, so im now attempting to install it. I put the floppy in the drive, turn the XL on, go to the load screen and it just says

Wait.....

No Floppy Device!

For some reason its not reading the device or the disk at all, i dunno. am i missing something here?

Unfortunately the floppy drive may be broke.

damn thats what i thought at first, i got lucky though and found out the cable connecting it to the main board or watever was just kinda loose. its all good now, thanks anyways
